A Little Bit About Me
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Western Carolina University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting teens, young adults, and adults in building confidence and achieving personal growth. Previously, I served as an Assertive Community Treatment (ACTT) Therapist, where I found great fulfillment in helping individuals recognize their strengths and work toward meaningful, self-identified goals.
As a clinician, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges and celebrating progress. I view therapy as a collaborative process; a place to find guidance, healing, and encouragement through life’s difficult moments. I have experience working with individuals facing trauma, life transitions, behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and ADHD. My therapeutic approach integrates Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Thinking, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support each client’s unique needs and goals.
